ICSPR Conducts a Recreational Support Activity for Children in Northern Gaza

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR), in partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” carried out a recreational and psychosocial support activity for 25 children at Ahali Lebanon Camp in the Al-Saftawi area of northern Gaza, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide psychosocial support for children and alleviate the psychological impact of displacement and the continuing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

The activity, which was held at 3:00 p.m., included a variety of recreational games, physical activities, and interactive exercises designed to bring joy and happiness to children, provide them with a safe space to express themselves, and promote positive interaction and cooperation in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

The event witnessed active participation and great enthusiasm from the children, who fully engaged in the activities. The program contributed to relieving the psychological stress they continue to experience as a result of displacement and the ongoing war of genocide, while also strengthening their self-confidence and developing their social skills through group activities.

ICSPR affirmed that this activity comes within the framework of its partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” which aims to support children and affected families through humanitarian, recreational, and psychosocial programs that enhance children’s resilience and provide safe and supportive environments for their healthy development.

The Commission also stressed the importance of continuing recreational and psychosocial support programs in displacement camps and shelters, emphasizing their significant role in strengthening children’s resilience, mitigating the psychological and social consequences of war, and supporting their right to healthy development and a life of dignity.
