ICSPR: LISTING ‘SHALLAH’ ON THE ‘TERRORISM’ LIST IS AMERICAN DENIAL OF THE PALESTINIAN RIGHTS TO RESIST THE OCCUPATION.
ICSPR: listing ‘Shallah’ on the ‘terrorism’ list is American denial of the Palestinian rights to resist the occupation.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Right strongly condemns listing the Secretary- General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Dr. Ramadan Abdullah Shallah in the annual wanted list of the FBI. The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has published a report which contains the names of 29 people on the list of wanted persons of the FBI, including 8 Palestinians, most notably Dr. Shallah, And the liberated detainee Ahlam al-Tamimi.
ICSPR believes that American behavior reflects a clear disregard for the international law and principle and the international judiciary. It also gives the green light to the Israeli occupation state to work to cause physical harm to these Palestinians in a manner that is contrary with the international law especially since the US behavior is not the first of its kind. In 2014, the US State Department listed the name of Mr. Ziad Al-Nakhla, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement on the list of terrorism.
1- ICSPR reaffirms its condemnation of the American decision, and declares its solidarity with Shallah and Tamimi and their families. It also affirms that the international law gives people under occupation the right to resist in all forms until get their freedom and political and economic independence
2- (ICSPR) sees that this step provides additional evidence of the American aligned towards the occupation at the expense of international law and justice.
3- (ICSPR) emphasizes that US administration is a partner in any Israeli crime that committed against the Palestinians, who are reported to be on the wanted lists of the FBI.
4- (ICSPR) stresses that the various international reports have confirmed that the Israeli occupation state is the one who practices international terrorism against the Palestinian people, whereas the Palestinian resistance is committed to international norms and conventions governing international armed conflicts.
5- (ICSPR)urges the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic diplomacy to work hard to ensure that the US administration retracts its recent decision and to develop and to publish an Arab black list listing the names of Israeli military leaders and civilians accused of international crimes, including the crime of terrorism.
