The International Commission (ICSPR) organizes a reception for the president and delegation of the Arab Organization for Human Rights and awards him ICSPR’s Award for Human and Peoples’ Rights
The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) organized a reception and honoring ceremony for Professor Alaa Shalaby, President of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, and the organization’s delegation, consisting of Mr. Muhammad Radi, Executive Director and Mr.Islam Abu Al-Enein, Director of Programs.
During his speech, Mr. Alaa Shalaby announced the organization’s general assembly’s decision to accept the membership of ICSPR in the Arab Organization for Human Rights Network, considering that ICSPR formed a quantum leap in a short period in the field of defending human rights.
A group of national figures and civil society activists participated in the ceremony, where the members of the Commission’s Board of Directors, and its Executive Director Mr. Samer Mousa, presented Mr. Alaa Shalaby ICSPR’s award for Human Rights, which the Commission awards periodically and without any discrimination to individuals, organizations and groups, on the basis of the individual’s personal accomplishments and commitments and the institutional achievements that support and advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people, especially their right to self-determination and resistance to the occupier.
