The Chairman of the International Commission discusses with the President and Executive Director of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, ways to support the Palestinian cause
Cairo: The Chairman of the International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) Salah Abdel-Atti, held today, Wednesday, 9/18/2019, a meeting with Mr. Alaa Shalaby, President of the Arab Organization for Human Rights and Mr. Ahmed Reda, Executive Director of the organization, based in Cairo.
The meeting discussed the human rights situation in Palestine and the violations of the Israeli occupation and ways to address them, in addition to the human rights situation in Palestine.
During the meeting, it was agreed on a set of activities to support Palestinian, Arab and international moves to renew the mandate of “UNRWA”, while organizing an Arab and international advocacy campaign for Palestinian rights, supporting the efforts of Palestinian human rights organizations to expose the crimes of the Israeli occupation, and following up on activating the path of accountability, issue and boycott of the Israeli occupation state.
They also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation relations to organize joint activities in the coming periods in support of Palestinian rights.
