ICSPR Conducts a Recreational Activity for Children at Ashab Al-Ard Camp in Northern Gaza to Promote Hope and Civil Peace
The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) conducted a recreational activity for 30 boys and girls at Ashab Al-Ard Camp on Al-Jalaa Street, near Al-Ghafri Roundabout. The activity aimed to provide children with a safe space to express themselves, bring joy to their lives, and alleviate the psychological and social pressures they face amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
The activity included recreational and interactive sessions that helped promote positive communication among children, foster values of cooperation, tolerance, and mutual respect, and strengthen participation and a sense of belonging. These efforts contribute to building positive relationships among children and reinforcing the principles of civil peace and social cohesion.
The Commission affirmed that recreational activities provide an important means of offering psychological and social support to children and strengthening their sense of safety, hope, and resilience. It stressed the importance of continuing community-based initiatives that protect children’s rights, provide safe and supportive environments, and contribute to building a more cohesive Palestinian society capable of facing crises.
