Press Release
(ICSPR): The Israeli occupation escalates the commission of genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, and war crimes against prisoners and in the West Bank
The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) is following with great concern the Israeli massacres against unarmed civilians, which reached 63 massacres during the past four days, resulting in nearly 300 martyrs and 1100 injured, including 112 martyrs and 407 injured among those waiting for humanitarian aid, reflecting the occupation’s intentions in the Gaza Strip to exterminate and kill the largest number of citizens, starve them, and target them with various forms of death. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation continues to escalate war crimes in the West Bank through incursions into cities and camps and expanding military operations inside them, which include killings, arrests, home demolitions, and confiscation of citizens’ property, in implementation of systematic settlement and colonial plans aimed at annexing the West Bank without its population and Judaizing the city of Jerusalem, in addition to continuing violations and crimes against prisoners and detainees in occupation prisons.
According to the details and information available to the Commission, during the past 48 hours, more than 200 martyrs arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continuous bombing of displaced persons in shelters and in front of American-Israeli aid distribution points, amid the silence of the international community and the absence of condemnation of these crimes, which illustrates the level of betrayal of international law and humanitarian principles, and indicates the normalization of committing these massacres inside the Strip, making this international inaction a green light to continue committing genocide crimes against the residents of the Strip, which the Israeli occupation state uses to escalate the brutal military attack on civilians through intensified airstrikes and ground incursions and committing massacres, despite the simultaneous efforts aimed at reaching a temporary truce, which increases fears regarding the number of crimes committed at a time when the occupation state is supposed to prove its seriousness in stopping all hostile actions on the Strip and ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid, and responding to the efforts of mediators to ensure the success of the negotiation round to stop the aggression. However, monitoring the occupation’s violations and crimes indicates an escalation of genocide crimes and the deliberate targeting of displaced persons’ locations in a frenzied manner. On Saturday, July 5, occupation aircraft committed a massacre by bombing Al-Shafei School in the Asqoula area in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, resulting in 5 martyrs and a number of injuries. An apartment near the emergency and ambulance headquarters in Gaza City was also targeted, in addition to the continued bombing and demolition of residential buildings in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood and east of Khan Younis city and the town of Jabalia. The occupation aircraft also targeted tents for the displaced of the Al-Sharif and Farhan families in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis city, south of the Strip, resulting in the death of 100 martyrs on Saturday. The pace of crimes escalated on Sunday, July 6, with the number of martyrs on that day reaching 120, distributed across the Strip. In Gaza City (56 martyrs): 17 martyrs in the bombing of the Abu Sharkh family home, which housed displaced people from the Abu Shkian, Sahwil, and Hanawi families in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city; 13 martyrs in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house belonging to the Abu Foul family in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city; 7 martyrs and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted Abu Asi School, which shelters displaced persons in Al-Shati camp, west of the city; 6 martyrs in an Israeli bombing that targeted a group of citizens near Kazem Ice Cream in Al-Rimal neighborhood; 4 martyrs and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house belonging to the Al-Safadi family in Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of the city; 3 martyrs in an Israeli bombing that targeted a vehicle on Ahmed Yassin Street in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city; 2 martyrs and a number of injuries in the occupation bombing of a group of citizens in Al-Rimal neighborhood in the city center; two martyr bodies were retrieved from Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood who were killed in an Israeli bombing on the vicinity of the Sabaha Medical Center in Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of the city; the martyrdom of two women was recorded as a result of an Israeli drone bombing of the vicinity of Al-Joulani Mosque in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city; one martyr and a number of injuries in an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent housing displaced persons from the Maqdad family near Al-Oyoun intersection with Al-Jalaa west of the city. In the central Strip (26 martyrs), including 8 martyrs among those waiting for aid near Wadi Gaza Bridge south of the Netzarim axis; 7 martyrs and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent belonging to the Bakhit family in the Abu Maala area west of Al-Nuseirat camp; 4 martyrs and missing in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house belonging to the Younis family behind Al-Jam’iya Mosque in Al-Nuseirat camp; 4 martyrs and injuries in the occupation targeting of a group of citizens north of Al-Nuseirat camp; 3 martyrs and injured in an Israeli bombing on a charitable kitchen north of Deir Al-Balah city. A fisherman was also injured in the sea off Deir Al-Balah as a result of Israeli naval fire. (18) citizens were martyred in the southern Strip, distributed as follows: 8 martyrs and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted tents sheltering displaced persons in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis; 3 martyrs by occupation army fire from the aid areas northwest of Rafah; 3 martyrs were retrieved from different areas in Khan Younis; two martyrs succumbed to their injuries from a previous Israeli bombing, they are Khaled Mohammad Ahmad Abu Dawood and Abdullah Mohammad Ahmad Abu Dawood; one citizen was martyred by Israeli drone fire in the town of Bani Suheila east of Khan Younis city; another citizen was martyred by occupation bombing that targeted a group of citizens near Abu Hmeid roundabout in central Khan Younis city.
On Monday, Israeli occupation forces continued committing massacres against civilians, as occupation aircraft targeted in Gaza City a house belonging to the Hamada family on Yafa Street in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza, leading to the death of 6 martyrs and 15 injuries. The occupation bombing of the Al-Rimal clinic, which shelters displaced persons in central Gaza City, led to the martyrdom of 5 citizens. A drone also targeted the vicinity of Al-Nabulsi roundabout west of Gaza City, leading to a number of martyrs and injuries. The occupation aircraft bombed a tent housing displaced persons opposite Musab bin Omair Mosque in Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza, leading to the martyrdom of 4 martyrs and injuries who arrived at the Baptist Hospital. In the central Strip, the occupation forces targeted a structure beside tents for displaced persons on Al-Baraka Street in Deir Al-Balah, killing two martyrs. The Israeli bombing of Hamad City led to the martyrdom of a number of citizens. The number of martyrs on Monday reached approximately 100.
This raises the death toll during the genocide war and the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip to 57,633 martyrs and 140,342 injured, since October 7, 2023, including 751 martyrs and 5,000 injured in front of the American-Israeli aid centers.
ICSPR: strongly condemns the occupation state’s insistence on disabling the health system and not meeting the needs necessary to save civilians’ lives. According to Dr. Marwan Al-Homs, Director of the Baptist Hospital, the situation is catastrophic due to the lack of food and water and the spread of epidemics such as meningitis amid the continued closure of humanitarian crossings since March 2, 2025, and the prevention of aid entry and targeting of citizens in front of American aid points, which confirms the ongoing Israeli injustice regarding the killing and starving of civilians. The World Food Programme confirms that 1 in every 3 people in Gaza is deprived of food for consecutive days, increasing the number of individuals suffering from malnutrition diseases. The Palestinian NGO Network confirms that 100 children suffer from advanced stages of malnutrition and are likely to die amid a continuous catastrophic crisis. The Guardian reported in a special investigation on the condition of children, increasing threats to the lives of this age group due to a shortage of infant formula. The deteriorating humanitarian system in the Strip recently and the prevention of medical and food aid entry prolong the recovery of the Strip and make Gaza an uninhabitable area.
ICSPR: warns of the announced plans supervised by the American-Israeli Security Aid Company, which operates under a humanitarian cover. Investigations published by the Financial Times revealed the involvement of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the largest global consulting firms, in preparing a financial model for the displacement of the Strip’s residents and their demographic emptying under a secret project named “Aurora”, which includes the displacement of more than half a million Palestinians in exchange for what is called “displacement packages” funded by external parties. The “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” (GHF) is the executive front of this project, which continues its criminal work despite rejection by the United Nations and all countries of the world. Meanwhile, Israel continues to restrict the work of UNRWA and other international organizations inside the Strip and prevents them from bringing in aid and obstructs their work, aiming to reduce relief work to the American-Israeli organization, which caused the death of 751 starving civilians and injured nearly 5,000, most of them in critical areas, confirming the deliberate killing or causing disability among citizens. These restrictions and obstacles to the work of international organizations come at a time when the Strip needs these humanitarian organizations to work to save citizens and protect them from famine and disease risks.
ICSPR: warns of the deepening thirst crisis amid rising temperatures and displacement, as occupation forces deliberately bombed the desalination plant in central Gaza City at a time when residents are facing difficulty in providing water due to the occupation preventing municipal crews from accessing the east of the city to repair some water wells, causing water shortages, accompanied by the prevention and obstruction of fuel entry needed to operate water desalination plants, which deprives various sectors of continuing services and leads to a dangerous wave of thirst that accompanies acute famine aimed at destroying the population of the Strip.
ICSPR: condemns the ongoing crimes against prisoners and detainees inside the occupation prisons, whose number has reached 18,700 detainees. According to the statement issued by the Prisoners’ Authority, prisoners in Gilboa prisons complain of a very serious escalation in the treatment by the Prison Authority, where they are subjected to the most severe forms of torture, including beatings and repression using weapons, including electric batons. Israeli courts continue their injustice and issue unfair decisions against these prisoners, as the Israeli “Supreme Court” canceled petitions of administrative detainees for flimsy pretexts and reasons, and the number of administrative detainees reached about 4,000 prisoners, while prisoners from the Strip are subjected to denial of rights and guarantees stipulated in the provisions of the Third and Fourth Geneva Conventions.
ICSPR: the occupation forces continue to impose more restrictions on the residents of the West Bank by setting up checkpoints, which impedes the right to movement in various areas, while settler crimes and attacks escalate, and more settlement outposts are established inside the West Bank, which reached 270 outposts by May. The Israeli occupation forces committed a series of violations, including the storming of cities and camps, raiding citizens’ homes, expanding arbitrary arrest campaigns, seizing citizens’ property, demolishing homes, and storming Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers under the protection of the occupation army. The occupation’s crimes aim to make demographic changes to Palestinian camps and cities, Judaize the land, confiscate it, expand colonial settlements, annex the West Bank, and displace Palestinians.
The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR): while condemning in the strongest terms the continued escalation in genocide, starvation, and dehydration in the Gaza Strip and the rest of the crimes and violations against prisoners in the occupation prisons and civilians in the West Bank, and while condemning the forced displacement plans announced under the cover of the criminal American-Israeli aid institution, and while warning of the danger of expanding the creeping colonial annexation, Judaization of the city of Jerusalem, and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and while condemning the silence and international inability in the face of all these Israeli violations and crimes, accordingly ICSPR records and demands the following:
ICSPR: calls on the international community, the signatory states to the Convention on the Prevention of Genocide and the Geneva Conventions, the United Nations, and the mediators to take serious and urgent action to stop the genocide war, ensure the flow of humanitarian aid, open humanitarian crossings, and allow international organizations to provide relief aid to citizens and save them from the catastrophe created by the genocide war and the Israeli aggression, and stop the work of the criminal American-Israeli humanitarian foundation.
ICSPR: demands the international community to confront the Judaization and displacement plans that the occupation state is working on openly and secretly, and to build a protective wall to thwart them and provide international protection for Palestinians.
ICSPR: calls on the International Criminal Court to open a serious investigation regarding the crimes against starving civilians in front of the American-Israeli distribution centers and to ensure accountability of the perpetrators of crimes against civilians.
ICSPR: calls on the United Nations, third countries, and the free people of the world to adopt the reports of the Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian territories and the reports of the Fact-Finding Commission, activate accountability mechanisms for occupation leaders, soldiers, and their partners, impose boycotts and sanctions on the Israeli occupation state until it ends its occupation of Palestinian territories, stops genocide, starvation, colonial settlement, Judaization, and displacement, and holds all those involved accountable.
