Press Release

On the 106th day, The International Commission “Hashd”Documents 14 Massacres Committed by Israeli Occupation Forces in Their Ongoing Genocidal Campaign Against Gaza

In a press release issued today, The International Commission “Hashd” documented 14 massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian families. The toll stands at 165 martyrs and 280 wounded, with the numbers expected to rise as rescue teams are hindered from reaching the victims. The total number of martyrs now approaches 25,000, with over 62,000 wounded and more than 8,000 still missing under the rubble.

The ongoing war attacks have resulted in the destruction of more homes, public and private properties, and infrastructure in continuous airstrikes across various locations in Gaza. Residential areas and commercial and civil structures in the towns of Al-Qarara and the city of Khan Yunis were demolished during the ongoing ground incursions in the central and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Despite continuous pleas for humanitarian aid and relief, the Israeli forces persist in imposing collective punishment, hindering the entry of humanitarian assistance, fuel, and restricting the travel and evacuation of the wounded and sick. This has led to dire humanitarian conditions, where basic services are non-existent, and the civilian population faces hunger, thirst, diseases, and the spread of epidemics, particularly among displaced individuals, children, women, the elderly, and the sick.

The International Commission “Hashd”: strongly condemns the baseless accusations by the Palestinian resistance factions of terrorism. Such claims only serve to justify Israeli aggression and the ongoing genocidal war and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and other Palestinian territories. This contradicts the principles of the United Nations Charter, General Assembly resolutions, international humanitarian law, and human rights standards.

The International Commission “Hashd”: commends Mexico and Chile for referring the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and Gaza to the International Criminal Court. This move aims to ensure a thorough investigation into the Israeli genocide, aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in Gaza and the West Bank. It seeks to hold Israeli leaders and soldiers accountable and prevent them from evading justice. The coalition welcomes the legal actions taken by South Africa against the Israeli head of state in the International Court of Justice, using the principle of universal jurisdiction. It also acknowledges Indonesia’s new case filed before the International Court of Justice challenging the legality of the Israeli occupation and demanding its cessation.

The International Commission “Hashd”: urges the international community, the United Nations, and high-contracting parties to the Geneva Conventions and advocates for global leaders to escalate political, popular, diplomatic, and legal efforts to halt the Israeli aggression on Gaza. It calls for ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid and relief to the Gaza population and providing protection for civilians, supporting the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, and ending the occupation.
