The International Commission (Hashd): Targeting and managing civilian homes and property is a well-established military doctrine of the Israeli occupation, which is reflected in its deliberate commission of war crimes

The past few hours witnessed very violent rocket attacks on multiple areas in the Gaza Strip, which destroyed several civilian homes and properties. This led to a state of forced displacement of hundreds of civilians, as the Israeli aggression continues for the fifth day in a row, which resulted in, according to the latest official statistics, to33 civilians, including 6 children and 3 women, being killed. 147 civilians were injured; 20 homes were destroyed; 940 housing units were damaged, of which 49 housing units were uninhabitable; The Israeli bombardment also affected several hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

The International Commission (Hashd), stresses the falsehood, lies, and invalidity of the Israeli claim to consider civilian homes in the Gaza Strip that have been targeted as war targets or used militarily; The truth is that they are notables of the city and did not contribute directly or indirectly to any military role. This is confirmed by the facts. It is also confirmed by the black history of the forces of Israeli occupation, deliberately implementing a policy of targeting civilian homes, objects, and property; Which has become part of the Israeli military doctrine.

The Israeli military attacks and raids on the Gaza Strip continue with the continued closure of all border crossings, which led to an exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, especially with the announcement that the fuel stock in the only power plant in the Gaza Strip is about to run out after less than 24 hours. Hence the risk of a complete power plant shutdown is still standing strong, especially in the event of the continued closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing and the prevention of fuel shipments to the station.

The International Commission for the Support of the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashd), warns of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip in light of the continued military escalation of the Israeli occupation forces, and stresses the need for the occupying state to abide by all the legal and moral rules imposed by the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, and highly appreciating the effortsThe tremendous efforts made by workers in the health sector, municipalities, ambulance, emergency, and civil defense, and stressing the need to expedite the provision of relief to the residents of the Gaza Strip, especially those who lost their homes, heads of families and places of livelihood as a result of the Israeli bombing and targeting; They record and claim the following:

The International Commission (Hashd): deplores the continuation of the international and regional silence conspiracy against the heinous crimes committed by the belligerent occupation authorities and calls for urgent international intervention to stop the aggression, prevent its expansion and ensure protection for the Palestinians.

The International Commission (Hashd): Calls on all international organizations and the United Nations to take serious action to condemn the aggression and pressure on the Israeli occupation state to open the crossings, lift the siege, provide support to the victims of aggression, and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes, and calls on the contracting parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to declare a clear and explicit position towards Israel’s refusal to abide by and implement the agreement in the Palestinian territories.

The International Commission (Hashd): calls on the Palestinian leadership to get out of the box of silence and stand by its people, by stopping security coordination with the occupier in the West Bank, empowering citizens of their rights in confronting Israeli crimes, internationalizing the conflict, referring the violations of the Israeli occupation to the International Criminal Court, and activating international contractual and non-contractual measures to support the imposition of sanctions on the Israeli occupation state.

The International Commission (Hashd): urges the international movement of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and all Arab, regional, and international organizations to move on all legal, political, diplomatic, human rights, and popular levels, to ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians.
