I.C.S.P.R Conclude training course titled “Human Rights and Social Media”
I.C.S.P.R has concluded training course titled “Human Rights and Social Media” which arranged in four days by 20 hours, which targeted 40 media students in Gaza, human Rights and Social Media were the main axes of the training course.
Mr.Nahed Khalaf, Board of Directors member, has praised such effort that leads to expose the Israeli violation towards the Palestinian through using social media. He also has asked the trainees to work hard in order to spread the idea to those who interested in social media.
Yahia Al-Madhoun, Director of Academic Cultural House, confirms on the importance of the journalist to defend human rights and Palestinians rights, and this is the main role to every Palestinian journalist against the battle with Israeli occupation.
Dr. Alaa Hamouda, Director of Training and Activities department added: “Training has reached its goals of providing the community group of male and female students who have the knowledge to employ social media in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law in strengthen solidarity with Palestinian people.”
At the end of the course, certificates were granted to the trainees, in presence of the Commission Chairman: Dr. Salah Abdel Atii, Boards of Directors Members: Fadi Alshaihk Ali and Thaer Abo Aoun, and the commission staff.
It is necessary to mention that the training is a part of training program to enhance the potential of the students in human rights and social media fields.
