I.C.S.P.R: Executing the citizen Basel Al-Araj, is a new episode of disrespecting the human right to life.

Gaza Strip/ International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (I.C.S.P.R) strongly condemns the heinous crime of execution committed by the occupation forces on Monday dawn 06 March 2017, that shot dead  the Palestinian activist Basel Al-Araj (31 years) from the village of Al-Walaja in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem.

According to information through local news sites, based on the eyewitness, the Israeli military force in the early morning besieged Palestinian house in Qaddoura refugee camp, near Ramallah city, where the citizen was there, culminating a two-hour-long gun battle and then military force break into the house, intentionally killed the citizen from close range.

It is worth to be mentioned that Israeli military force had been pursuing him, several months ago; where the Israeli force break into his house several times, he became hunted for occupation since the first days after his release from Palestinian prison after six months of detention and hunger strike last year.

International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (I.C.S.P.R) condemns this crime and the continuation of Israeli State policy of killing and field executions, I.C.S.P.R demands:

It deeply concerned about repeating killing and filed executions carried out by the Israeli Military forces against Palestinian in Occupied West Bank, in different circumstances, reveal a systematic Israeli policy based on an alarming disregard of the human right to life.
Call upon the International Community the need for effective action to declare a clear position about the systematic Israeli policies and crimes, including supporting accountability and prosecute the perpetrators of such crimes in front of the International Criminal Court.
