On the 14th anniversary of the murder of Rachel Corrie

The International Commission(ICSPR) Demands justice for her and  for the human rights violations victims.
March 16, 2018 coincides the 14th anniversary of murdering the American peace activist Rachel Corrie(24 years old) after being attacked by a military bulldozer while attempting to speak to its driver to prevent the demolition of houses near the border in Rafah southern Gaza Strip.

The International Commission to Support Palestinians Rights (ICSPR)  reiterates its condemnation of the crime committed by the occupation forces against the American activist, and stresses on the Israel s failure to punish the perpetrators of this crime is a link in the chain of Israeli attempts to secure impunity for its forces operating in the occupied Palestinian territories, The Corrie family filed a lawsuit in 2005, accusing Israel of intentionally killing their daughter, and failed to conduct a thorough and credible investigation, and through long-term court hearing, the judge denied the state responsibility of the incident for it occurred in a time of war according to him.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2012, the Israeli court rejected charges of negligence in the murdering  of US peace activist Rachel after being attacked by a military bulldozer while attempting to speak to the bulldozer driver to prevent the demolition of residential homes near the border strip in Rafah, At approximately 16:45 on Sunday, 16 March 2003.

International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) declaring its solidarity with the Corrie family, Deploring in the strongest possible terms the continued denial of justice by the organs of the Occupying Power and it reiterates its strong condemnation of the murder of Rachel Corrie, in which the occupying forces have clearly and seriously violated human rights and international law standards, also she calls the institutions of the international community to promote justice and respect for human rights and to confront the culture of impunity through the application of international law standards to prevent further violations.
