ICSPR continues its efforts to hold a conference on “The Palestinian Issue between Reality and Future Prospects” next Tuesday

The International Commission to Support Palestinian rights (ICSPR)continues its efforts to hold a conference on “The Palestinian Issue and Rights between Reality and Future Prospects” scheduled for next Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in the presence of a group of academics, jurists, legal persons, dignitaries, representatives of civil society organizations and those interested.

In turn, the head of the international commission to support Palestinian rights “ICSPR” Dr. Salah Abdel-Atti said that The forum acquires exceptional importance as it discusses the challenges facing the rights and the Palestinian cause in light of international and regional changes mainly.

He added, during press statements, that the Israeli military occupation authorities continue to commit crimes that amount to war crimes against humanity and racial discrimination, while refusing to recognize Palestinian national rights and continuing the processes of settlement annexation, the Judaization of Jerusalem, the abuse of prisoners in occupation prisons, and the continuing attacks against our people.

He pointed out that the aforementioned challenges require consensus on a comprehensive national strategy, to anticipate the future and identify the most appropriate alternatives for the Palestinian people to preserve their destroyed rights by derogation and liquidation, in addition to reading the international and regional dimensions and variables and their repercussions on the Palestinian cause.

He noted the need to propose more feasible policies at the Palestinian and Arab levels and to agree on effective solutions and policies to neutralize risks and take advantage of available opportunities in the same context.

Abdel-Atti confirmed that the conference will have a wide Palestinian participation, represented by civil society elites, political figures, academics, and researchers, in addition to external, international and Palestinian participation from the cities of the West Bank, Jerusalem and the occupied interior, who will participate in the conference activities via the interactive “Zoom” platform.
