ICSPR CALLS UPON THE SECRETARY GENERAL TO TAKE SERIOUS ACTION TO STOP THE ISRAELI POLICIES THAT CONTRADICTS THE INTERNATIONAL LAW

An urgent appeal to the Secretary-General of the United Nations

ICSPR calls upon the Secretary General to take serious action to stop the Israeli policies that contradicts the international law

The International Commission to Support the Palestinian Rights ICSPR address this urgent appeal to Mr. António Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, in order to urge him to take serious action that ensures ending the suffering of the Palestinians’ people, through working to end the Israeli occupation, as it considered the most effective way to achieve international peace and security, which are the Supreme goal of the United Nations.

ICSPR welcomes Mr. António Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, in his first visit to the Occupied Palestinian territories, including Gaza Strip, considering this visit as a step in the right direction that gives the international organization and the Secretariat the moral value of their presence alongside the Palestinian victims

ICSPR had sent for the Secretary General earlier many letters and memorandum about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, ICSPR reaffirms the following:

The Israeli Occupation continued to deny the international law and the Palestinian Rights, through the implementation of systematic policies against the Palestinians, that contradicts the Fourth Geneva Conventions of 1949 and Additional Protocol I of 1977, as well as the occupying State leaders and their executive, legislative and judicial institutions, still continuing its systematic violations against the Palestinian right to self-determination,  and denying the rights of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes, furthermore the violation against public freedoms and the right of Palestinians to access the holy city to practice religious rites, in addition to continuing the brutal killing of the civilians either of shelling in Gaza or by the weapons of the settlers in the west Bank, also the crimes against the Palestinian prisoners and their families, and continuing the Israeli blockade which imposed on Gaza Strip for the eleventh year respectively, that resulted in successive humanitarian crises and an unprecedented degradation of the humanitarian situation of the Palestinians’ in Gaza Strip.

International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights ICSPR consider your visit to the occupied Palestinian territories, a chance to inform you about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories,  considering that this visit is an opportunity to correct the mistakes of the international community against the Palestinian people, and an opportunity for the United Nations and the general secretariats to work for the Palestinian victims, ICSPR calls upon Mr. António Guterres the Secretary General of the United Nations, the following:

ICSPR calls upon Secretary General to give the utmost importance to the Palestinian suffering through careful dealing with these suffering on the principles of international law in order to make it in the forefront of any meeting in order to protect the Palestinian peoples’ rights.
ICSPR urge you to take serious actions against all illegal and immoral international and regional attempts that aims to politicize the international law and the work of the United Nations in the interest of the Israeli Occupation and at the expense of the Palestinian people right’s.
ICSPR invites you to recognize personal and institutional commitment that prevent any justification for regional or international agreement that does not take into account the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people’s, as enshrined in the United Nations resolutions and principles of international law.
ICSPR calls for an urgent action to ensure ending the suffering of the Palestinian people, by working to end the Israeli military occupation, and then address all policies and serious violations that ignores international law, in particular international human rights law and international humanitarian law.
ICSPR Urges you to put pressure on the Palestinian Government to stop the collective punishment imposed on Gaza Strip that deprive the citizen’s and employees’ of their rights and freedoms.
ICSPR Asks you to work with international and local partners to ensure the responsiveness to find real solutions to Gaza crisis, before it’s too late, you have to take serious actions immediately, tomorrow may be too late.
