Occupied Palestine / Gaza: The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) concluded today, Saturday, February 16, 2019, the specialized training program in the field of preparing and training the legal researcher, with the participation of 25 young men and women graduates of political science faculties at Al-Azhar University.

Sahar Abu Ramadan, a member of the board of directors of ICSPR explained that the Commission’s policies are based on concern for Palestinian youth, and the pursuit of creating a generation capable of defending their rights and the rights of their people, stressing the necessity and importance of such programs aimed at raising the efficiency of Palestinian youth in the field of human rights.

She stressed the importance of the participants to employ what they gained during the training program in their working lives, and to pass on the experiences they gained to their colleagues.

It is noteworthy that this training program sought to provide the participants with knowledge and understanding of the best international and national standards concerned with human rights and humanitarian law, knowledge of stable international methods and mechanisms in law, the judiciary and international work and among jurists and men of international law, and improving the skills and experiences of the participants in monitoring and documenting grave violations and ways to follow them before International bodies
