The International Commission “Hashd” 200 Days of Israeli Aggression Prove that Killing Children, Women, Elderly, Medical Service Providers, and Journalists Reflects the Basis of Israeli Military Doctrine, Indicating Its Intention to Commit Genocide and War Crimes
Israeli military aggression has continued for 200 consecutive days, with the world failing to stop the largest and most heinous genocide in modern times. Israeli occupation forces continue to use all their weapons and military equipment in a clear, systematic, and organized manner to target civilians and their civilian properties, especially residential homes in densely populated neighborhoods, with the aim of killing children, women, and the elderly, and forcibly displacing families, leading them to repeated forced displacement. Approximately 90% of Gaza’s population has been displaced, living in famine and humanitarian disaster in shelter centers and tents.
Israeli genocide continues amidst an unprecedented exacerbation of humanitarian crises due to collective punishment, blockade, and inhumane conditions created by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. This is happening as Israeli threats of invading Rafah city and forcibly displacing nearly a million Palestinians to devastated areas increase, warning of a humanitarian catastrophe that cannot be comprehended due to the closure of the Rafah crossing and the destruction of what remains of hospitals and shelter centers in the Gaza Strip.
Over the course of 200 days, Israeli occupation forces have committed a wide range of serious violations, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, including continuing massacres, with more than 3,700 massacres resulting in 35,000 martyrs and 80,000 wounded, 73% of whom are children and women. Additionally, around 12,000 people are still missing under the rubble. Israeli forces intentionally destroyed civilian properties, resulting in the destruction of 80% of the Gaza Strip’s buildings, including entire cities and camps, with not a single house spared, in addition to looting Palestinians’ money and properties and burning their homes. Israeli forces also committed arbitrary arrests, targeting more than 8,000 civilians who were subjected to torture, with approximately 6,000 still missing. Mass graves have been discovered, with hundreds of bodies found, some with their eyes gouged out and bound, especially in Shifa Hospital in Gaza and Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, indicating deliberate cold-blooded executions in a terrifying manner that demonstrates the brutality, cruelty, racism, and terrorism of the occupying state, which disregards international humanitarian law and the principles and values agreed upon by the international community.
The International Commission “Hashd” warns of the increasing spread of deadly diseases and epidemics among displaced people caused by thousands of explosives and bombs dropped by Israeli warplanes on the Strip, along with the emissions, smoke, and phosphorus resulting from the aggression. This is in addition to the loss of the minimum necessities of life, power cuts, closure of desalination plants, sewage systems, overcrowding, polluted water, collapse of the health system, shortage of care supplies, and the presence of thousands of bodies in the streets, decomposing, and waste accumulation, estimated by the United Nations to reach 270,000 tons. This has led to the spread of diseases such as cholera, viral hepatitis, and others, with around one million infected people, lacking any means for treatment, including thousands infected with viral hepatitis.
The International Commission “Hashd” emphasizes that Israeli military doctrine has turned civilians and their properties into legitimate targets, strongly condemning the continued failure of the international community to stop Israeli aggression and genocide crimes, and to enforce the resolutions of the Security Council, the General Assembly of the United Nations, and the International Court of Justice’s measures to protect Palestinians from the crime of genocide and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid. Therefore, it records and demands the following:
- Hashd: Condemns the Continuation of American Support for the Israeli Occupation Militarily, Politically, and Economically, and Denounces the Ongoing Conspiracy of International and Regional Silence Towards the Genocide Crimes Committed by the Occupation Authorities.
- Hashd: Renews its call on the contracting parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to urgently act to ensure that Israeli occupation forces comply with the Fourth Convention in the occupied Palestinian territories.
- Hashd: Urges the international solidarity movement with the Palestinian people, as well as all Arab, regional, and international organizations, to take action on all legal, political, diplomatic, human rights, and popular fronts to ensure the cessation of genocide, boycott of the Israeli occupation state, imposition of sanctions, and accountability of its leaders, soldiers, and all its accomplices before international justice.
- Hashd: Calls on the international community to provide international protection for Palestinians, expedite the delivery of aid and humanitarian needs through all air, sea, and land routes to end the severe famine, blockade, collective punishment, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
- Hashd: Calls on all international institutions, the World Health Organization, and all free countries to immediately mobilize to rehabilitate the health sector and restore hospitals to service. We demand the deployment of field hospitals, dozens of medical teams, and hundreds of doctors in all specialties to save the health situation in the Gaza Strip and save thousands of wounded and sick people before it’s too late.
- Hashd: Calls on the Prosecutor’s Office of the International Criminal Court to include the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip in the file of Israeli crimes under investigation, including proceeding faster to conclude preliminary investigations and issue arrest warrants against Israeli occupation leaders.
- Hashd: Calls on the lawyers of the free world to file lawsuits before national courts to prosecute war criminals and their accomplices and to demand an end to support and arms exports to Israel.
- Hashd: Calls on the State of Palestine to refer the ongoing genocide crimes to the International Criminal Court and to join the lawsuits brought by the International Court of Justice, filed by South Africa, and to support the process of holding Israeli occupation leaders and their accomplices accountable using the principle of universal jurisdiction.
- Hashd: Calls on the world to support the work of UNRWA and other international humanitarian agencies and to pressure to prevent obstruction of their work in providing humanitarian aid in all areas of the Strip to ensure an end to the famine and humanitarian disaster caused by Israeli occupation crimes.
