The International Commission (Hashd) warning of the consequences of Israel’s occupation government’s intention of allowing settlers to attack the occupied Arab regions and the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque during the so-called flag march next Thursday, May 18, 2023.
I.C.S.P.R Sent the A humanitarian appeal to : The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory,Secretary-General of the United Nations , League of Arab States, High Commissioner for Human Rights,European Union , President of the Human Rights Council and League of Arab States.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) sends you its greetings and greatly appreciates your well-known role in serving the desires of the world’s nations, including the State of Palestine, in the hope of achieving freedom and liberation from occupation, particularly with regard to the above subject. We are addressing you today to put you in the form of a provocative and aggressive decision against Jerusalem, its citizens, and the Palestinian people world-wide.
The International Commission (Hashd) confirms that the Israeli occupation government’s decision to allow settlers to proceed with the march of flags in the Arab neighborhoods of the occupied city of Jerusalem on Thursday, 5/18/2023, and to allow them to enter the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque is a blatant and aggressive attack on the feelings of Muslims, especially Palestinians around the world, and it is a rash decision that is inseparable from the open aggression of the occupation, and an extension of the continuous Israeli policies of escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories that threaten to drag the conflict arena towards more explosions that are difficult to control, especially after less than a week since the end of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, Which led to the death of 33 innocent Palestinians citizens including(6 children), and( 190 wounded), including(64 wounded children,).
The Israeli occupation government’s decision violates international humanitarian law and the sanctity of the holy places, and it fits into the framework of the processes of Judaizing Jerusalem, continuing its acquisition, and attempting to eliminate any sign of Palestinian presence in it. To decrease and calm the situation, the Israeli insistence on adhering to the occupation, settlements, and Judaization processes and persisting in defiance of resolutions of the United Nations related to the city of Jerusalem and international law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the annexation of occupied lands and imposes special protection for holy places and places of worship, is a clear violation. The international will that approved a special status for the city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque also proves that the Israeli occupation chose to escalate against the Palestinian people.
the International Commission (Hashd) appreciates your announced directions for advocating Palestinian rights and condemning violations against them, and we point out the danger of allowing the occupation state’s violations against civilians and holy places to get worse, and we warn of the danger of allowing extremist settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque or passing the march of the flags in the occupied Arab neighborhoods.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) urges you to take immediate and serious steps to carry out the role assigned to you in protecting Christian and Islamic holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as to take a firm stance to pressure the Israeli occupation state to stop the grave violations in Jerusalem and to ensure that settlers stop storming Al-Aqsa Mosque and Concerning the media march in occupied Arab regions or allowing them to break in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as working on the issue of the Israeli occupation for its crimes and continuous violations of international law.
