An urgent notification to pressure the Israeli military occupation authorities to compel them to stop confiscation and settlement activities in the occupied lands.
The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) addressed international bodies, urging them to exert more positive and effective efforts, to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to oblige them to immediately stop the settlement procedures and the confiscation of the lands and properties of Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, as these procedures constitute a grave breach of the provisions of international law and human rights law, in addition to constituting a Judaizing crime that amounts to a crime of apartheid on the basis of race.
According to recent data, the occupation authorities approved the construction of about (780) new housing units on the lands of citizens in the occupied West Bank, on 17 January 2021, in a new challenge and provocation of international legitimacy, and in a new international crime added to the record of Israeli crimes against rights of the Palestinian people, as part of the policy of imposing new facts by force, and changing the geographical and demographic features in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The patterns of violations referred to above, constitute international crimes that require an immediate and practical international effort to stop them and hold the perpetrators accountable for violating the principle of impermissibility of settlement and confiscation, targeting civilian property and the impermissibility of forced displacement, in addition to their violation of international legitimacy decisions related to the occupied Palestinian territories, which emphasized in several places the illegality of settlements and the confiscation of civilian lands.
