ICSPR Condemns Repeated Israeli Violations of the Ceasefire and Holds the Occupation Responsible for Crimes Against Civilians in Gaza

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) strongly condemns the Israeli escalation and the deliberate crimes committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip, which since dawn today have resulted in the killing of 32 people, including 12 children, 10 women, and 7 members of the women’s police force, in addition to approximately 47 injured. Search operations are still ongoing for missing persons trapped under the rubble. The attacks targeted residential apartments, areas adjacent to tents sheltering displaced persons, the Sheikh Radwan Police Station, and other densely populated areas.

These attacks represent a repeated and deliberate violation of the ceasefire agreement since its entry into force on 10 October 2025. The total number of violations has reached 1,450, resulting in 526 fatalities and 1,405 injuries. This reflects a blatant disregard for the rules of international humanitarian law and a complete dismissal of international efforts and mediation aimed at stabilizing the ceasefire, as the occupying power has turned the agreement into a cover for continuing acts of genocide in various forms.

ICSPR strongly rejects the Israeli claims used to justify the bombardment and targeting of civilians under the pretext of attacking “facilities and infrastructure belonging to Palestinian factions.” Field evidence, including photographs, videos, and testimonies from victims’ families, confirms that the targeted sites are located within civilian-populated areas and that no prior warnings were issued. Furthermore, the targeting of civilian police centers constitutes a systematic policy aimed at engineering chaos and amounts to a fully-fledged war crime under international law.

ICSPR also condemns the continued obstruction by the occupying authorities of humanitarian aid entry, including the prevention of mobile homes, shelter supplies, medical equipment, medicines, and fuel, the banning of international humanitarian organizations from operating, and the ongoing cutting of electricity and water supplies to the Gaza Strip. These actions further exacerbate the humanitarian crisis and endanger the lives of civilians, who are enduring catastrophic humanitarian conditions as a result of the occupation’s crimes.

ICSPR calls upon mediators, third states, the international community, and the United Nations to:

  • Take immediate action to halt ceasefire violations, lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip, open all crossings, and ensure the unimpeded flow of all essential supplies to the population.

  • Provide urgent international protection for Palestinian civilians.

  • Impose sanctions on the occupying power, including an arms embargo, and ensure accountability for perpetrators of crimes before international courts.
