ICSPR Carries Out a Recreational and Supportive Activity for Children in Northern Gaza City

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR), in partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” carried out a recreational and interactive activity targeting 30 boys and girls in northern Gaza City near the Shaker Harb area – Al-Saftawi, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide psychosocial support for children and alleviate the impact of the difficult humanitarian conditions they endure.

The activity included a variety of recreational and interactive events and group games aimed at bringing joy to children, while providing them with a safe space to express themselves and participate in an atmosphere of happiness and positive interaction, contributing to strengthening their sense of safety and belonging.

The event witnessed broad participation and great enthusiasm from the children, who actively engaged in the activities and demonstrated a spirit of cooperation and participation. This contributed to strengthening their self-confidence and relieving part of the psychological pressure they face amid displacement and humanitarian suffering.

ICSPR affirmed that this activity, implemented today, May 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., comes within the framework of its partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” which aims to support children in the Gaza Strip through humanitarian response programs, recreational activities, and psychosocial support, particularly for children affected by war and displacement.

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) stressed the importance of continuing humanitarian and psychosocial initiatives that provide children with hope and help them overcome the psychological and social consequences of the difficult conditions in the Gaza Strip, while strengthening their resilience and safeguarding their right to a safe and dignified childhood.
