The International Commission “ICSPR” Carries Out a Recreational and Supportive Activity for Children in Deir al-Balah

The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights – ICSPR, in partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” carried out a recreational and energizing activity targeting 20 boys and girls from the Ahmed Mashinesh Camp for widows and orphans in the city of Deir al-Balah, as part of its ongoing efforts to support children psychologically and socially and to strengthen their ability to cope with difficult humanitarian conditions.

The activity included a range of recreational and interactive events and group games aimed at bringing joy to the children, providing them with a safe space to express themselves, and allowing them to participate in an atmosphere of happiness and positive engagement, thereby helping to reduce the psychological and social effects they face.

The event witnessed broad interaction and great enthusiasm from the children, who engaged actively in the activities provided and demonstrated a strong spirit of participation and cooperation, which contributed to enhancing their self-confidence and alleviating the psychological pressures they are living under amid displacement and humanitarian suffering.

The Commission confirmed that this activity comes within the framework of its partnership with the Italian campaign “100×100 Gaza,” which aims to support children in the Gaza Strip through humanitarian response programs, recreational activities, and psychosocial support, especially for orphaned children and those from the most vulnerable families.

The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights – ICSPR stressed the importance of continuing humanitarian and psychosocial initiatives that give children hope and support their right to recreation and a dignified life, in a way that helps them overcome the psychological and social effects resulting from the harsh conditions facing the Gaza Strip, while strengthening their resilience and social inclusion.
