Israeli Occupation Continues Committing Acts of Genocide Against Starving Civilians at U.S. Aid Centers and Inside Displacement Zones

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) strongly condemns the escalating massacres committed by Israeli occupation forces against civilians in the Gaza Strip. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, Gaza witnessed one of the deadliest waves of genocide through direct targeting of crowded aid distribution points and displacement zones. These attacks resulted in the killing of at least 148 civilians within 48 hours, including entire families, marking new massacres that amount to genocide and war crimes, continuing for the 21st month with political and military support from the United States of America.

According to ICSPR’s documentation, the occupation committed a massacre this morning in central Gaza, targeting starving civilians at Gaza Valley Bridge near the Netzarim axis, leading to 11 deaths and dozens of injuries, with victims transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat camp. On Tuesday morning, Israeli forces perpetrated a horrific massacre in southern Gaza at Al-Tahlia Junction, east of Khan Younis, where 63 civilians were killed while waiting for aid. Additionally, 8 others were killed at the joint U.S.-Israeli aid distribution point near Al-Alam Roundabout west of Rafah.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes targeted displaced families’ tents in Al-Mawasi area, killing entire families including the Al-Qaisi family, and members of the Hamdan, Arsan, Abu Jalidan, and Rasras families, with dozens injured.

ICSPR also documented a series of deadly crimes committed by Israeli forces at dawn, the most severe being the bombing of the Al-Ghamri family home, killing 10 family members. In Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, 8 civilians were killed near Ali Mosque. In Al-Bureij camp, the bombing of Abu Shamala’s home killed 16 civilians, including 8 women and children. In Gaza City, 2 civilians were shot dead by Israeli soldiers on Street 10 in the south. In the north, 5 civilians were killed, including the child Saja Hamouda in Jabalia, the elderly Hussein Al-Mabhouh in Azbat Abed Rabbo, and others waiting for aid on Al-Rashid Street in Al-Sudaniya.

These atrocities bring the death toll since October 7, 2023 to 55,493 martyrs and 129,320 injuries. Since March 18, 2025 alone, the death toll reached 5,194 martyrs and 17,279 injuries.

The number of victims at U.S.-Israeli aid distribution points has reached 397 deaths and over 3,031 injuries, while many other bodies remain under rubble or in the streets due to the inability of medical and civil defense teams to reach them.

ICSPR holds the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” and its affiliated U.S. security company legally and morally responsible for the brutal massacres of starving civilians, as direct partners in targeting and killing them. These military points are part of the occupation’s strategy to deepen famine, escalate humanitarian disaster, and collapse Gaza’s social and humanitarian infrastructure. ICSPR warns of a worsening catastrophe due to ongoing blockade, closed crossings, and prevention of humanitarian aid and medical supplies, pushing over two million Palestinians toward total collapse of essential life systems.

ICSPR stresses the urgent need to stop this inhumane mechanism immediately and empower the role of the United Nations agencies, particularly UNRWA and both local and international humanitarian organizations. ICSPR demands a comprehensive international investigation into crimes committed against starving civilians at U.S.-Israeli aid distribution points.

Therefore, ICSPR demands the following:

  1. ICSPR calls on the international community to urgently act to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people, ensure humanitarian aid flow, impose diplomatic, economic, and military sanctions on Israel, and hold Israeli leaders accountable before international courts for war crimes committed against civilians and civilian infrastructure.

  2. ICSPR demands immediate pressure on the occupation authorities to open border crossings and allow the entry of humanitarian, medical aid, and fuel without restrictions, to be distributed through UN bodies to ensure aid reaches those in need and to protect civilians from being targeted.

  3. ICSPR calls for the termination of the U.S.-Israeli security mechanism used in aid distribution, which has proven to be a tool for committing crimes against civilians and turning aid centers into mass-death traps. ICSPR urges enhancement of the UN-led humanitarian system, especially UNRWA, alongside Palestinian and international NGOs, to ensure safe and effective aid distribution.

  4. ICSPR calls for an urgent, transparent international investigation into the repeated crimes at aid distribution sites run by the private security firm and the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”, and for all parties involved to be held accountable as accomplices in war crimes and crimes against humanity.

  5. ICSPR calls for immediate international protection for Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the formation of a humanitarian international coalition to force the Israeli occupation to stop targeting civilians, protect civilian infrastructure, and guarantee the opening of humanitarian corridors.
