The International Commission (Hashd) calls for international intervention to prevent the implementation of the generals’ plan aimed at forcibly displacing and depopulating northern Gaza

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (Hashd) warns against the forced displacement and depopulation of the residents of northern Gaza, as part of the implementation of the second phase of the ongoing genocide, carried out with increased brutality. For five consecutive days, Israeli occupation forces have launched a large-scale military offensive on Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia, committing dozens of massacres against civilians. The attacks have resulted in dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded, while the bodies of the deceased lie in the streets after being targeted during forced displacement operations. Ambulances and civil defense teams have been prevented from retrieving the bodies.

These heinous crimes are accompanied by a tight siege on the targeted areas, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid, food, medicine, and fuel necessary to keep hospitals operational. Hospitals, including Kamal Adwan, Al-Awda, and the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza, have been threatened with evacuation, which sets the stage for their possible targeting, meaning the suspension of all health services and endangering the lives of the injured and the sick. In addition, the only operating bakery in northern Gaza, Al-Shalfooh bakery, has been targeted and destroyed. These acts constitute blatant violations of the rules of international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, The Hague Conventions, the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, and other human rights standards.

The International Commission (Hashd): condemns the ongoing international silence and failure to stop the genocide and war crimes. The Commission renews its call for urgent humanitarian intervention to prevent the forced displacement of the approximately 200,000 residents of northern Gaza. It urges the international community to work to end the continuous Israeli aggression, enforce the decisions of the International Court of Justice and the United Nations, ensure the flow of humanitarian aid, and provide international protection for civilians, hospitals, and healthcare workers.

End.
