The International CommissionHashd “Day 120 Israeli Genocide and Aggression in Gaza Persist Amid Ongoing International Failure to Halt Attacks and Provide Humanitarian Corridors

In a press conference held on the 120th day of the ongoing Israeli genocide and comprehensive blockade on the Gaza Strip, The International Commission “Hashd “expressed deep concern over the continuous international failure to stop the aggression and establish humanitarian corridors to ensure the flow of essential humanitarian and medical supplies.

The International CommissionHashd”: reported that the Israeli military’s relentless onslaught has led to a grave humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The failure of the international community to intervene has resulted in the loss of homes for a million Gaza residents, widespread destruction of health and education facilities, and unprecedented economic collapse, with unemployment and poverty rates exceeding 90%,Over the course of four months, the Israeli occupation forces have committed more than 2,400 massacres and intentional killings, resulting in over 27,000 martyrs and 67,000 wounded, including 8,000 missing individuals, with 70% of them being children and women. The forced displacement of two million Gazans has raised alarming concerns about the violation of humanitarian principles and international humanitarian law.

Despite the international community’s continuous failure to compel Israel to cease its aggression, there has been a dire failure to establish safe zones and humanitarian corridors, as stipulated by the Fourth Geneva Convention. Concerns are mounting about the potential expansion of Israeli ground attacks into the Rafah Governorate, the last refuge for nearly 1.5 million citizens, most of whom are forcibly displaced and living in overcrowded tents with severe shortages of food, water, and the spread of diseases.

The International CommissionHashd”: emphasized that since the ruling of the International Court of Justice, the Israeli occupation has caused the death of nearly 1,000 Palestinians, injured thousands, displaced around 150,000 individuals, and continues to impose collective punishment on the Gaza Strip. Thirteen countries have halted funding to the International Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), aligning with Israeli schemes and becoming complicit in the collective punishment.

The International CommissionHashd”: exposed the crime of the enforced disappearance of the child Haneen and the emergency medical team for over four days, arbitrary arrests, and forced disappearances of thousands of Gaza residents, with no information about their whereabouts. The discovery of field executions and the spread of bodies in areas vacated by Israeli forces highlight the urgent need for international action to reveal their fate and ensure accountability through mechanisms of prosecution, sanctions, and boycotts against the occupying state.

The International CommissionHashd”:  called on the United Nations, world governments, and high-contracting parties to the Geneva Convention to take decisive action to halt Israeli aggression, prevent the continuation of the genocide, and provide international protection for Palestinians. It urged the support of international organizations, especially UNRWA, and guaranteed the flow of humanitarian aid to all Gaza residents who endure the horrors of killing, terror, hunger, thirst, diseases, homelessness, income loss, and aid shortages.

Finally, The International CommissionHashd”: urged the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to expedite investigations into crimes committed in the occupied Palestinian territories and issue arrest warrants against the perpetrators. It called on people worldwide, governments, organizations, and rights advocates to continue their grassroots movements in support of Palestinian rights, including the right to self-determination, an end to occupation, the dismantling of settlements, and the Israeli apartheid system.
