The International Commission “Hashd” Warns of Imminent Death for Quarter of Gaza’s Population Due to Ongoing Genocide, Forced Displacement, Famine, Diseases, and Cold

The International Commission to Support Palestinians Rights (Hashd (reports on the 114th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. Despite the International Court of Justice’s decision to protect Palestinians from genocide and collective punishments, and to cease depriving Gaza residents of essential humanitarian needs and aid, the Israeli occupation persists in violating the International Court of Justice’s rulings and the principles of international humanitarian law.

Israeli forces continue to commit massacres against families by bombing and destroying their homes without prior warning, targeting and destroying shelters, expanding military attacks in the city of Khan Younis, issuing evacuation orders, and forcibly displacing its residents amid shelling and gunfire. The situation exacerbates the suffering of displaced individuals, who endure harsh conditions in overcrowded shelters and tents, particularly in Rafah, the last refuge for refugees. They face a humanitarian disaster, with insufficient aid, famine, thirst, diseases, and epidemics claiming lives daily.

The crisis deepens in northern Gaza, where residents are subjected to continuous shelling, killings, and destruction, with hindrances preventing the delivery of aid to the population. The collapse of the health sector has led to the shutdown of 30 hospitals and 54 health centers. Israeli forces repeat their crimes against the remaining hospitals in Khan Younis, surrounded by Israeli tanks, imposing a six-day siege preventing the entry of fuel, medical supplies, and food aid for patients and displaced individuals. Ambulances are also barred from retrieving the bodies of martyrs and evacuating the wounded due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The International CommissionHashd”: affirms the deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure by Israeli forces, violating all principles of international humanitarian law, human rights conventions, United Nations resolutions, and the International Court of Justice. The continuous genocide and war crimes have resulted in the death, injury, or displacement of over 100,000 individuals, 70% of whom are children and women, with over 2 million people forced into exile, representing 90% of Gaza’s population. Approximately 4,000 individuals face arbitrary arrests, and 80% of civilian homes and infrastructure have been destroyed.

The International CommissionHashd”: The international community’s condemnation of the ongoing genocide in Gaza is appreciated, with specific recognition given to Algeria’s call for a United Nations Security Council meeting to ensure its responsibility in stopping the Israeli aggression and genocide against Gaza, in accordance with International Court of Justice resolutions. “Harass” urges people worldwide to escalate their efforts on all levels to pressure countries and international organizations to condemn these actions, support the people of Gaza, and enforce accountability measures, boycotts, and sanctions against the Israeli occupation, aiming to halt the ongoing genocide and dismantle the system of racial colonization.
