The International Commission “Hashd” condemns the death of three civilians in Jenin by Israeli occupation troops using a missile directed from a reconnaissance plane to attack their vehicle.

The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights “Hashd” strongly condemns and denounces the Israeli occupation state and settler militias’ escalation of crimes and terrorism against Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank, the most recent of which were settler militia terrorist attacks on Palestinian towns, cities, and villages in the West Bank, as well as the burning of citizens’ property and terrorizing them.

And the assassination and extrajudicial killing that occurred on Wednesday evening, 6/21/2023, via guided missile strikes from an Israeli occupation army reconnaissance plane that targeted a car carrying three citizens in the “Al-Muqibela Airport” Plain area near the town of Al-Jalama, north of Jenin. Suhaib Adnan Al-Ghoul, 27, Muhammad Bashar Owais, 28, and Ashraf Murad Al-Saadi, 17, were all killed instantly as a result of this.

This brings the number of deaths during the last 72 hours in the West Bank to 17 civilians, including 3 children, while the number since the beginning of this year has reached 178 civilians, including 31 children and 7 women.

The international Commission “Hashd” holds the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for the escalation of its crimes against Palestinian civilians, revealing the extent of the Israeli occupation state’s disregard and denial of the rules of international humanitarian law, particularly the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention, the Rome Charter, and the rest of human rights standards, and affirming the Palestinian people’s right to resist the Israeli occupation state.

The International Commission “Hashd” calls on the international community, the United Nations, and the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions to take immediate and practical steps to provide international protection for Palestinians, including the activation of boycott mechanisms and the imposition of sanctions. International accountability through the use of the notion of international jurisdiction and before the International Criminal Court to prevent Israeli war criminals from escaping punishment.
