The International Commission (ICSPR) concludes a training course entitled “Teamwork and Human Rights”

Occupied Palestine / Gaza: The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) concluded a training course on “Teamwork and Human Rights” for (30) male and female graduates, today, Thursday, February 20, 2020, at the headquarters of the Commission in Gaza City.

Salah Abdel Atti, President of the International Commission expressed his thanks to the participants for their commitment during the training and their endeavor to raise their cultural and scientific level, stressing that the Commission’s policies are based on concern for Palestinian youth and the quest to create a generation capable of defending their rights and the rights of their people.

He stressed the importance for the participants to use what they gained during the training in their careers, and to pass on the experiences they gained to their colleagues.

The training was conducted by a group of competent trainers, during which they focused on the principles and history of mankind, the international legitimacy in general, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the principles of international humanitarian law, the Palestinian Basic Law, legal advocacy mechanisms, support for the rights of the Palestinian people in international forums, and mechanisms.

These courses are part of the ongoing activities of the International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR), in an effort to raise awareness of international humanitarian law among the groups and segments of the Palestinian society in Gaza.
