ICSPR Conducts an Interactive Recreational Workshop to Support 30 Children as Part of Its Ongoing Activities in Northern Gaza
The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) conducted an interactive recreational workshop targeting 30 children in the Ahl Lebanon Camp in Al-Saftawi area، as part of its humanitarian programs aimed at providing psychosocial support to children amid the difficult conditions in the Gaza Strip.
The workshop included a variety of recreational and interactive activities, such as drawing, coloring, and group games, in addition to energizing exercises aimed at developing children’s creative expression skills and enhancing their ability to communicate positively with others. These activities were facilitated by specialists who worked to create a supportive environment that helps children release emotional stress and express their feelings safely.
The event was marked by an atmosphere of joy and vitality, with children showing strong engagement in the activities. Through their drawings and use of colors, they expressed their thoughts and emotions in a safe and encouraging space that fostered a sense of security and belonging.
ICSPR emphasized that such activities represent a vital intervention in light of the ongoing humanitarian challenges, stressing that children in Gaza are in continuous need of psychosocial support programs to help them regain emotional balance and mitigate the long-term effects of trauma.
The organization also highlighted the importance of continuing such initiatives, which contribute to building a supportive environment for children and promote their rights to recreation, education, and protection. ICSPR reaffirmed its commitment to implementing similar programs to reach as many children as possible across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
