ICSPR Condemns the Ongoing Israeli Occupation’s Crimes of Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) strongly condemns and denounces the Israeli occupation’s systematic crimes and policies in Gaza and the West Bank, aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians. These crimes have escalated amid U.S. and Israeli statements regarding the annexation of the West Bank and the forced displacement of Gaza’s residents outside Palestinian lands, in what constitutes the creation of a new Nakba. The Israeli occupation, while accelerating colonial settlement expansion, is working in parallel to forcibly displace Palestinians by emptying refugee camps in the northern West Bank, forcibly expelling their residents through widespread aggression targeting camps, cities, and villages. The occupation has specifically targeted Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas refugee camps, conducting repeated raids, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, and mass displacement, alongside extensive destruction of homes, civilian property, and infrastructure. Furthermore, Israeli forces have cut off water, electricity, and telecommunications, and deprived civilians of food and essential supplies.
Over the past week, ICSPR has documented the martyrdom of 30 Palestinians, including 4 children, and the injury of approximately 300 civilians, some critically. Additionally, 13,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from Jenin Refugee Camp, 11,000 from Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, and 3,000 from Al-Far’a Camp, as part of an effort to destroy Palestinian refugee camps, expel their inhabitants, and transform them into uninhabitable disaster zones, reinforcing a policy of ethnic cleansing and colonial settlement expansion.
ICSPR strongly condemns the ongoing crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in Gaza and the West Bank. The impunity granted to the occupation over the past decades, coupled with international inaction and complicity, has emboldened Israel to expand its aggression. This is further fueled by U.S. support and statements from the American president, which have encouraged Israel to persist in its crimes.
ICSPR warns of the continuation of genocide in Gaza, where despite a ceasefire, Israeli forces have deliberately prolonged the killing of civilians, with 118 Palestinians murdered since the ceasefire began. The occupation is also deliberately obstructing the implementation of humanitarian protocols, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, fuel, temporary housing, and heavy equipment needed for the retrieval of bodies from the rubble and the reconstruction of hospitals and infrastructure. Additionally, the occupation is hindering the evacuation of the wounded and sick, exacerbating the catastrophic humanitarian conditions that could lead to mass civilian deaths.
ICSPR is deeply concerned that the West Bank could soon face a similar genocidal catastrophe to that witnessed in Gaza. The Commission strongly condemns U.S. President Trump’s statements regarding the recognition of Israel’s annexation of the West Bank and the forced displacement of Gaza’s population, which embolden the Israeli occupation to continue its fragmentation of the Palestinian people, denying their inalienable right to self-determination and return. ICSPR also warns of the escalating violence perpetrated by settlers and Israeli forces across the West Bank, including settler attacks and colonial violence, which occur under the full protection of the Israeli occupation army.
ICSPR underscores the grave humanitarian conditions of Gaza’s genocide survivors, where hundreds of thousands remain homeless, as Israel prevents the entry of tents and temporary shelters amid the harsh winter cold. These civilians lack the most basic necessities, due to the occupation’s deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, heavy machinery, shelters, blankets, winter clothing, and other essential resources.
Therefore, ICSPR calls for the following:
• ICSPR: Calls on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli occupation’s crimes in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza and to provide international protection for Palestinians. The occupation must be held accountable under international humanitarian law and comply with United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian cause, particularly those demanding an end to the Israeli occupation, the dismantling of the racist colonial settlement system, and the recognition of Palestinians’ right to return and self-determination, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
• ICSPR: Urges the international community and the guarantor parties of the ceasefire agreement to immediately intervene and force the Israeli occupation to comply with its obligations, ensuring the unhindered flow of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid, as well as heavy equipment, fuel for electricity generation, solar energy supplies, and all essential resources for restoring service sectors. These measures are critical to ensuring a lasting ceasefire, lifting the siege, and rebuilding Gaza.
• ICSPR: Calls on the United Nations and all freedom-loving nations and peoples worldwide to fulfill their moral, legal, and humanitarian responsibilities in halting the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people. ICSPR urges the activation of boycott mechanisms, the imposition of sanctions on Israel, and the prosecution of Israeli leaders, soldiers, and accomplices in genocide, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes. This is essential to securing justice for Palestinian victims, upholding international law, and ending the double standards that enable Israeli impunity and lawlessness.
