ICSPR: Bloody Israeli Escalation in Gaza Leaves Martyrs, Including Children, Women, and a Paramedic, Constituting a Grave Breach of the Ceasefire
The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR ) is following with deep concern and condemnation the brutal Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip since dawn on Wednesday, which resulted in the killing of 21 Palestinians, including the children Rahaf Rami Abu Jame’, Reemas Rami Abu Jame’, and the child Wateen Al-Khabbaz, as well as the women Asmaa Hamada and Farah Amer Jaber Hamada, and the paramedic Hussein Hassan Hussein Al-Samiri while carrying out his humanitarian duty. Thirty-eight others were injured as a result of artillery and aerial bombardment targeting homes and tents of displaced persons in the Al-Tuffah and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods east of Gaza City, and in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
ICSPR affirms that the escalating Israeli aggression constitutes war crimes and a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in force since 11 October 2025. Since that date, the death toll has reached 556 martyrs and 1,500 injured, raising the overall toll of the ongoing genocide for the third consecutive year to 71,824 martyrs and 171,608 injured, in addition to thousands missing under the rubble.
ICSPR calls on the international community, mediators, and the states guaranteeing the ceasefire agreement to take all urgent measures to halt the Israeli aggression and repeated violations of international law, ensure international protection for civilians and paramedics, guarantee the entry of humanitarian aid and the fulfillment of all needs of the population in the Gaza Strip, and bring an end to the ongoing genocide.
