The International Commission (ICSPR) concludes a training course for university students in the field of international law
Occupied Palestine/ Gaza: The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) concluded today, Monday, a training entitled: “Principles of International Law and International Humanitarian Law,” for 12 training hours, with the participation of 25 trainees from the field of law and media, at the headquarters of the international Commission in Gaza City.
And participated in the graduation of the course, Mr. Salah Abdel Atti, Chairman ICSPR, and coordinator of Training and Activities, Dr. Alaa Hammouda, and the coordinator of the Projects Department, Reem Radwan.
Attorney Salah Abdel Atti stressed the importance of developing youth capabilities in the field of defending human rights and the rights of the Palestinian people, especially in light of national and humanitarian challenges, referring to the role of youth in protecting human rights.
The training was conducted by a group of qualified trainers from the staff of the Commission and external trainers, during which they focused on the principles and history of human rights and the international legitimacy in general, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the principles of international humanitarian law, the Palestinian Basic Law, legal advocacy mechanisms, and support for human rights.
These courses are part of the ongoing activities of the International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR), in an effort to raise awareness of international humanitarian law among the groups and segments of the Palestinian society in Gaza.
