To move in solidarity with the prisoner Khalil Al-Awadeh, who is on hunger strike for the 152nd consecutive day in protest against his administrative detention in prisons
The international commission to support Palestinian Rights “ICSPR” follows with great concern the violations and torments of the prisoners that are escalating inside the prisons of the Israeli occupation and its arbitrary measures against the Palestinian prisoners and detainees, especially against the hunger strikers, sick prisoners and the elderly, especially the hunger striker Khalil Awawdeh (40) years old from the town of Idna Occupied Hebron District, who is still continuing his open hunger strike for the 152nd consecutive day, in refusal to his arbitrary administrative detention, as he is still being held in Ramleh prison, and the occupation authorities are still refusing to release him and transfer him to the hospital to receive health services and follow up on his health despite the severe deterioration of his health condition.
The international commission to support Palestinian Rights “ICSPR” invites you to exert all pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities in order to guarantee the life of Khalil Awawdeh , the hunger striker in the Israeli occupation prisons for the 152nd day, and to demand an end to the crime of arbitrary administrative detention against him, without indictments or a fair trial, as well as The rest of the grave violations that he and the prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons are subjected to, including torture and medical negligence, are arbitrary measures that violate the provisions and rules of international humanitarian law and human rights charters.
With the continuation of the prisoner’s strike, Khalil Awawda, and the continued refusal of the occupation to transfer him to the hospital, even though his health condition has reached the level of extreme danger, and his life is in serious danger and threatened with death at any moment.
Therefore, we urge you to escalate solidarity with the prisoner Al-Awadeh and to take all measures to ensure that members of the international community fulfill their obligations to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to ensure a response to the just demand to stop the administrative detention of his right and release him, and to break the silence about the escalation of the occupation’s violations of international human rights standards and the rules of international humanitarian law, And obligating the occupation authorities to respect international law and the provisions of the Geneva Conventions of 1947, and to stop their practices and gross and systematic violations and the arbitrary measures practiced against Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons.
